States that do not allow real estate rebates

As of 11/22/07, there are 12 states that ban real estate rebates. They are:

Oregon 

Montana 

North Dakota 

Iowa 

Kansas 

Missouri
Missouri does not allow MLS listing-only services. This blocks internet companies and brokers from offering cut rate services to customers. Missouri law prohibits unlicensed persons from accepting commission rebates. So, non-licensed consumers may not receive a rebate or part of the commission.
